I have tried using a curling iron but it falls out after like 30 min. and I've tried using a holding spray while doing this style, again it falls out but also leaves a stiff dry feeling.

For me, hot curlers work soo much better than a curling iron, but maybe roll your hair, but not tight, in sponge curlers and sleep over night in them, and then spray them in the morning... works for me!!

Hot rollers . just on the ends . use some hairspray also.

Try putting in cheap mousse when your hair is wet. Let it air dry and then curl it. Don't get expensive mousse because it allows your hair to move and then it will fall flat.

work mousse through hair before and then curl hair with the barrel closed. curl away from the head and only curl half the lenght of ur hair. use a maximum hairspray like form pantene and u should be fine!
